Mary was walking verrrrry slowly this day so it was all slow-mo. We only started down the Royal Mile before she got too knackered to continue. We saw the Crown Jewels but cameras were prohibited. There was a sword nearly as big as me. Cannonballs so huge it would take three strong people to pick one up. The view from the Castle was breathtaking, we could see the ocean.

Since I would be missing both birthdays (the first time ever) we celebrated Alec's birthday #9 (Jan 21) and Laura's birthday #6 (Feb 5) at Katie's house. What a lot of fun with cake, ice cream and pink punch.
