This is the spider outside my window each morning: yellow garden orb weaver spider. It's big for a spider: about 2 inches. Needless to say, I brushed the web out of the way this morning before sticking my head out and saying hello to the birds.

Update: Guess Aurora got tired of me tearing her web down because instead of rebuilding it over my window today, it is now on the upstairs deck.
