Joan and I had a great morning at the farmer's market then going to a stand in front of a working farm. The produce was fresh and very tasty. We got corn, cucumbers, tomatoes and other things.

have been a three-some for six weeks and I've had the opportunity to go on splits with them several times and have really enjoyed it.

Cook-out with the family then at Kara's suggestion, we started a bonfire and roasted marshmallows. After everyone left, I stayed down by the river and watched the sun set then the moon rise. Lovely.

lots and lots of blackberries:
Amy and I went pickin' in Bill DeQuasie's patch. Probably shouldn't have worn my white jeans...Looking forward to jam, jelly, blackberry cobbler, berries on top of cheesecake etc. I've already made 2 pies. Yummmm.
